or wonā€™t see,
maybe tommorrow

DOOD!!! THAT IS THE MOST FRIGGING AWESOME THING I"VE SEEN THIS WEEK!!!

YEAH!

its that kinda stuff that makes me:
A) get more into karate, and
B) makes me almost kick my friend in the face! (just kidding, of courseā€¦ inside jokeā€¦)

HOLY CRAP!
that was flippin sweeet!!
Iā€™d say itā€™s even awesomer than that video of David Belle, donā€™t remember the URL, but google for David Belle, heā€™s flippin amazing tooā€¦heheā€¦flippinā€¦get it?..

my favorite part was the guy doing the awesome matrix-like pre-fight warm up deal, and the guy getting stuck in the barrelā€¦

see, you guys? gravity isnā€™t all THAT restrictingā€¦ you just canā€™t fly, thatā€™s allā€¦

I could so do that.

After, you know, 15 or 20 years of practice.

iā€™m still working on my ā€œtrademarkā€ pre-fight sequence to REALLY psyche out your opponentā€¦ not for tournaments, but for those who really want to take me on. mine involves a lot of spinning and quick hand movementsā€¦ and a han-bal jacee. (one leg dodge stanceā€¦ i thinkā€¦ not reallyā€¦EDIT: it IS A real stanceā€¦ iā€™m just not sure of spelling and of translationā€¦)

haha u thinks that sickā€¦ lookat these 2 guysā€¦

Awesome acrobatics! But really, some of you guys need to get out to a quality circus or something every once in a while. Itā€™s even better when the pros do it!

Not to take away from those impressive moves; they definitely were!

That was awesome!

how do you know we dontā€¦

dece

blah

my computer wont let me see it.

I dunno, maybe itā€™s just me, but I enjoy watching amatures and/or non-professionals do stunts like that over people who perform in the shows. I guess itā€™s because I see average people in a gym doing it, I think, ā€œWoah! Thatā€™s awesome that that guy could do that!ā€ But then when I see a pro do it, I just think, ā€œEh, he does it for a living; itā€™s just his job.ā€

On second read, the comments didnā€™t look so much like people who had never seen ā€œextremeā€ acrobatics beforeā€¦

I think I know what you mean. Somehow it looks easier when the pros do it. Theyā€™ve done it enough times to have it down real solid, so theyā€™re not operating at their cutting-edge levels. I bet thatā€™s what it is. Plus, your expectations are higher in a show environment than they would be in a less formal situation.
