Evidence that even if you’re a better cyclist than God, then still you can be hit by unexpected traffic EVEN in the middle of nowhere.

He should definitely sue that thing. And buy a new helmet. This appears to be a victory for animal lawyers and helmet makers.

LOL, I’m not an expert, but I think that was a buck on rut. He saw the biker as a territorial rival and was careful not to miss.

That sounds like a likely explanation. Still, it was strange. A hit and run. He didn’t wait around to really assert himself, but instead ran off like he didn’t have insurance.

I still don’t understand … helmets are not supposed to prevent accidents, only to protect your grey goo if you’re in an accident. If anything, the video supports wearing a helmet as the rider appears to have landed on his head and (from the extended version I saw on the morning news) he got up and walked away.

The best part of that video is that the guy points it out in the beginning, hes like “What out for that” and then gets hit like 8 seconds later xD
