I just found this video on the web. Its carzy stuff…Its call street climb.
Also known as Parkour or Freerunning. Insane stuff, but cool to watch
I was about to get into that kind of stuff, but my ankle has held me back lol. Once it is fully healed, Im gonna start doing that.
Thats my first love right there. Le-Parkour, great hobby, if you’re interested check out www.urbanfreeflow.com and www.parkour.net it’s a great discapline, I’ll throw up some links to some of my videos if anyone’s interested.
Funny you should mention the founder of the sport is crazy though, all my Parkour Buddies think Unicycling it insane, believe it or not, parkour has a shorter learning curve than unicycling for most people.
oh and check out www.pkto.ca if you’re interested in the Canadian scene
I have an article hosted on their main index page at the moment on breaking into the sport.
I would give anything to have buildings like that to play on!
thats crazy, the question is why?
that looks like fun, but i cant see any of these movies
Lol the acrobatic stuff he does is only standard stuff
The whole concept behind it is to train to be able to overcome all obsticals in your path. To be able to get from point A to point B in the fastest and most fluid way possible. That video simply shows off the abilities one can achieve at the higest level of the sport. But most consider roof jumping to showy and unnessacary and it’s not as big a part of the sport as all the ground level stuff. Mostly we just drill vaults, jumps, and speed climbing.
Basicly it’s about not wanted to be hearded around through the city like everyone else, we want freedom so we make our own. Freedom to move.
what if we don’t like in a big city, is there any way we can do this stuff?
Yeh theres always things to jump from and to where ever you go, just try to think of it like unicycling, can you jump on it?
yeah man i saw some of that stuff like 3 monthsa ago, and i am trying to learn some of thoes tricks. on ground. like the crazy back flip stuff… i am SOO close to being able to run up a wall and flip off.

As far as I know, that guy is the KH of Parkour. Rather neat looking flow!
Yes, David belle is bigger then KH in parkour, he started it. But don’t get confused flips of any kind are NOT parkour, some people do them in conjunction with parkour, but they certainly do not embody the concept of being effecient and fluid, they are showy and a waste of energy. Now don’t get me wrong they look cool and all, but flips and related acrobatics fall under the catagory of tricking. Not Parkour. David belle has said so himself many times.
And yes, even if you live in the country you can practice parkour. Got picnic tables? you can practice vaulting those, and with a little determination and some practice get it down pretty fast. I’ve seen people do diving vaults ( this kind in perticular is called Kongs ) over picnic tables the LONG way, at a full run. so indeed there are things you can find in your area to start on. But start small, it’s not about roof jumping or flips. Don’t get that impression
oh and irvinegr those are called wall flips, and can be learned without TOO much diffaculty if you have two spotters to help you rotate. if you’re interested in Tricking you should go dig up some pages online, theres a ton of cool videos out there. go look at www.trickstutorials.com it’s a cool site with some instructional videos.
just watched the video, and that stuff is amazing, it makes me want to take a brake from learing five ball juggling stuff
Check this one out too…

I HAVE to learn some of this stuff, il try it tomorrow when im goin’ to school
that link is no good
There’s also a video of someone falling to his death, doing a building jump.
Wish I had the link to deter anyone from trying this stuff.
i would never jump off of a building, but how do you do that one roll thing, im just not sure if your head touches the ground or not
