Called the Los Angeles field office. I wasn’t sure who to report it to so i googled for info and it said secret service should handle it.

Yep, first time I ever met a secret service agent. You’d never know he was since he looked like your average guy in regular street clothes.
Why do you think that? They have the address and phone number of the person who sold me the piano, and probably finger prints other than mine…and the secret service guy; yeah, he freely handled them bare handed! I did tell him to feel free to call me if he had any more questions. He didn’t really seem to think it was the crime of the century.
That’s pretty cool that a secret service member came to your house and left without taking you off with him in handcuffs on your way to jail or something.
I’ve met a few secret service guys and they are quite cool. Really laid back but when you’re talking with them they’re so on top of situational awareness and what’s happening around them.
Why the hell would you think they would handcuff me and take me to jail? I swear you guys are freaking insane lol! If somebody somehow steals a unicycle from one of our more than 15,000 members…DON’T REPORT IT TO THE POLICE! They might arrest YOU for theft!
Lol must be the movies we watch. I didn’t think they were going to take YOU but just a person in general. Again, must be the movies because they’re cool guys who want to help you more than anything.
Terry. My original concern was the fact that you had mentioned shredding the documents, after you had published the fact that you had found them on a public forum. I was concerned for your well being and was pleased to see JJuggle, John Childs & BTM suggest that you contact some form of authority figure re: this issue.
At no time did I think or suggest that you had produced the bills or would try to spend them. I was just trying to make light of what could have turned out to be a serious situation for yourself
