more useless posts, but they are still entertaining. I’ll be watching for the magic moment.
I think you mean tomorrow. I will be passed out. I will instead enjoy the fact that there are many ordered time unit sequences in existence at this moment that have some numerical significance.
I’d like to be, but post-secondary education doesn’t always allow for that. I’ll probably be up.
it will never happen again!!!, i should make shure to wake up the whole neighboorhood for it shouldnt I?
OMG, i missed it!
i kinda feel the same as i did after Y2K happened
I think a better way to do it is at 1:23, then its 1:23 4/5/6.
you get all excited for it and there’s no big explosion or something really cool like you imagined? I’ve still got a couple hours before it happens around here.
Actually, it happens 36 times every hundred years.
You weird Yank types… people who write their dates properly all realise that 01:02:03 04/05/06 is the 4th of May, so we’ve got ages yet.
Phil
It’d be better to start with the largest unit first (the year) and sequencially go down the list… instead of mixing these up in true american fashion.
I’ll leave it up to you to figure out what date I’m waiting for.
On the 12 hour clock it occured at both AM and PM. The radio station I was listening to yesterday afternoon did a special anouncement at that time yesterday. Said it wouldn’t happen for another 100 years. Is that true?
Next year on the 24 hour clock we will get 12:34 5/6/7. Will the string ever get longer?
Wierd, April 5, 2006 was the same day as the day after Valentines Day.
Think there will be a numerical thread at six-oh-six on June Six?
Would that be a HOT date?
its in the afternoon too, i cant wait till next month to yell in the middle of class for it though!!
That happens twice on the 12-hour clock as well…
You could make the string longer if you include seconds, then you could have 12:34:56 7/8/9, or even 12:34:56 7/8/90
Rob
I was there for the last one and I plan on being around for the next one.
Fear 06/06/06
why?
