For those of you that don’t know what olliebollen is, it is a Dutch treat that is traditionally made every new years. Here’s what it looks like…
Both of my grandparents, and my mom, all make a batch or two of olliebollen at the begining of every new year, and they usually don’t last more then a couple days.
They are also the most delicious thing that I have ever eaten.
So is there anyone else out there that enjoys a batch of olliebollen every new years?
I was surprised to see this subject here, I missed this thread the first time around. I’m Dutch, and I eat oliebollen every year around this time. There’s one left right now, then I have to wait till 31 December of this year.
Oh, no, wait… I’ll be in New Zealand this coming 31 December, for Unicon. What a bummer :-p
