Well, it was fun. We met up at Moore Skatepark and Butternuts and I rode for about half an hour. Charlie’s uni was at his sister’s house and she was at a Blazers game, so we had to go break in to get it. She lives in Norman, so we decided to ride on campus. Some rent-a-cops stopped us and took our IDs, and called the real cops. After a waste of like…45 minutes of our time, we got sent away with citations for “stunting on unicycles”. The cops were completely moronic. One couldn’t read well, none of them could spell simple words like “tongue” or “piercing”…it was bad. One of the cops even got onto the other cop because he didn’t fill out the citation correctly. It was a total joke. Now the three of us are banned from OU for 6 months…but it ain’t no thang, cause Charlie and I don’t transfer there for 6 1/2 months.
Okay…so for the evening of Friday the 16th…anyone down for riding? Honestly…I think Moore Skatepark is the best place for uni. I’ll go to OKC’s or Edmond’s skatepark too though. So who’s down? It’ll be around 7pm or so.

OKC Skatepark, just south of S 15th St off of Robinson, by the dog food factory. We’ll be there around 7 or 7:30. Come out and ride if you like.

Do we have a back-up plan if it rains? Butternuts, Charlie, Niki, and I were gonna go ride at Jackson Elementary in Norman cause it’s got a covered area with a ledge and a couple benches, and some flat…I’m cool with riding in the rain though. 630-4684 if it rains, cause I don’t have a way to get in touch with you.

Hey man…we got to OKC skatepark and they had just shut the gates due to rain. We actually wound up driving up to Edmond skatepark to ride there for a while…it was windy, and it was sprinkling, but we got in a good half hour or hour of riding before it got too wet to ride. Maybe you should PM me with your number so I have it next time…

Awesome, see you guys there. It should be interesting, one of my friends snapped his frame yesterday and got it welded up today, so we’ll see how that holds up.

I’d be down for OKC again, it was a good ride. I think it will be even better with all of us remembering helmets.
Yeah…any of the three parks is fine by me.
I like Moore more than I should, I think. It’s got a good flat rail, metal boxes, two huge steps, some small “handrails”, some stuff to jump off of, etc. It’s tiny, but we don’t really need a big park cause, well…we can’t go fast or really do anything “big”.
I ordered the KH leg armor from UDC…they’re expensive, but they look totally badass.
Hopefully I will get to ride with yall sometime. It was fun last time I rode with Justin at the OKC skatepark, I wanna hit that rail again.

I will try to make it to which ever skate park we decide on. If it is the OKC on I will remember to bring a helmet and before the next time we go out I need to get some shin guards. Do the cheapie ones at walmart stand a chance in hell to protect a novice? I have a friend who really really sucks, even compared to me, and he wants to come. He just started 2 weeks ago, so he is learning his balance still. Plus he is using me small one, so not so good to learn on. Well, hope to see y’all then.
By the way, is this the old model of Torker DX that appearntly snaps alot or the newer one. From the pic I cant tell. If it is the newer one I may buy it soon instead of a new wakeboard.
