not sure but i heard that ittook them 8 days of filming to get it right, dunno if thats right though

They did it live at the MTV Video Music Awards (well, as live as you can get in the MTV land of lip syncing). So they can get it done in one take. Probably took them 8 days of rehearsal to get it right. I believe it was choreographed by the sister of one of the band members.
