Well I went to the meet at Maumee bay in Ohio, I live in Eastern Pa, so it was an 8 hr drive.
I got there 3 hrs late, lack of planning, but still got in 2 compititions, which was cool. I got 2nd in the obsitcal course, i’m thinking not to many people in my age range competed, cause I took really long at the part where you weave in and out of the cones, I didn’t weave, I went through, way past, turned around, then through again, hehe. I dq’d on the slow race by going off the 6 inch peice of rubber we used, hoped that meant Dairy Queen, but it meant disqualified, man. Got to meet some new people, including billham from these boards, and see some good unicyclists, which is always inspiring. To top it off I had ordered Universe 2, but got it Friday and I didn’t watch it till Sunday when I got back, thats a pretty awesome movie, lots of skilled riders.
Oh yeah, took a coker ride around the lake at the bay, that was cook, although I didn’t look around too much cause i’m not comfortable enough yet to not concentrate on keeping up there, someday.
