Oh no, not another "what unicycle do I buy?" post.

I’ve been riding now for about a year and a half now and it’s time to upgrade. I’m looking for something MUni-ish that fits into my budget (<$350 about). I’ve been loking on unicycle.com, mostly @ the Nimbus 26 in MUni ($199) and The Yuni 26 in MUni($344), and I guess basically what I would like to know is whether the Yuni is enough better than the Nimbus to justify paying $145 more for it, or if the nimbus is good enough (Or even get a completely other unicycle? 24 in instead?). I’m not looking for the ultimate unicycle here, but I don’t want to end up with a heap of scrap metal like my present one.

From everything I’ve read and heard, there is no way that Yuni is worth $145 more than the Nimbus. I’ve never heard someone claim one of those frames is better than the other. The hub on the Nimbus is (if anything) better. The rim (at pictured) is the same.

my opinion: maybe (only maybe) the Yuni is worth $25-$50 more than the Nimbus. If you’re gonna spend $344, either: spend $54 more and buy two Nimbuses instead; or spend $50-$100 more and but either and Onza or KH with a splined hub (though there is no 26" tire, and both are out of stock)

I guess I’ll go with the nimbus, then. From what the reviews say it doesn’t look like too bad a unicycle, and it’s probably a whole lot better than what I have now.
