What happened?
I saw and loved the first one (no not the orignal) then rented this one and was pretty confused throughout all of it. BUt what happened in the end? Was their big plan just to ask LeMarque for the egg?

No, To trick him into thinking he was the best in the world and the one to get the egg, But the other d00ds got it.
They pulled a fake-fake heist, and a fake-fake getting caught. Ended up with the egg long before LeMarque stole a fake.
It had an excellen soundtrack.

They did, but they ended up revealing that they had the real egg, and that they were the best theives. Yeah…

the ending was sorta weird, and it makes you wonder if someone would ever put something that big under such little security(just a guy and a backpack) when there is something else like an armored truck as a decoy.

Oh shoot… that one with pierce brosnan, and that huge diamond, where he wants to steal it but his wife insists he doesn’t and he runs into that FBI agent, and they become good friends…
I thought the movie was lame in comparison to the first. I would even rate the italian job (remake) as a better heist movie- and that’s saying something,
