The annual New Zealand Unicycle weekend will be held in Auckland from the 21st to the 23rd of October.
This is a chance for NZ riders to come together, learn new skills and compete for national titles. If you happen to be in town come and join us!
The weekend kicks off on Saturday morning, with registration between 8:30 and 9:30 am at Freemans Bay Community Hall, 52 Hepburn Street, Freemans Bay. On the Sunday and Monday we will be doing Muni and urban rides at various locations around Auckland.
8:30am-9:30am: Registration at Freemans Bay Community Hall and general gym time
9:30am-10:30am: Freestyle and general workshops by some of NZ’s top unicyclists. Unicycle.com will be there to tempt you with some cool stuff to buy.
10:30am-12pm: Group games. (Bullrush, hockey, sumo etc)
12pm-1pm: Break for lunch.
1pm-1:30pm: NZUNi AGM, all are welcome to attend
1:30pm-3pm: High jump/long jump
3pm-4pm: Trials and street workshops
4pm-4:30pm: Wacky races and general gym time
4:30pm-5pm: Prize giving and spot prizes
5pm-5:30pm: Clean up many hands make light work
5:30pm Urban Trials Ride – Lead by Nick (muzzle)
7.30pm till Late: Meet for videos & pizza (more information to come)
Sunday October 22 nd
10am: Meet at Nick or Tony’s place to travel to Woodhill for the best offroad riding Auckland has to offer. We will break into groups depending on skill level.
