Anyone else planning to take advantage of the NYC “Summer Streets” closure of Park Avenue for human-powered recreation the next three Saturday mornings?

Last year I was just learning, and only by the last weekend was I actually able to ride a little bit of it, rather than constantly walking to the next light pole I could use as a mounting aid.

Now after a year enjoying the park loop and greenways, I’m looking forward to riding more of it. Anyone else planning to?

Shame we’ll be in town… the week end after! Labor Day weekend. Actually, isn’t that supposed to be the “ride on Gov’s Island” day?

The street closed for cars were a blast last year, I was able to do it before we met. It was pretty fun and all the positive comments from riders/spectators were awesome.
