NUC fun

Hey all,

I just wanted to say NUC was quite a good amount of fun. It was amazing,
especially considering this was the first convention I’ve been to. It was
really great to put faces with some of the names I’ve seen so often on
this group. (I feel bad I missed the muni stuff on Saturday, but I hurt my
foot walking around the city on Friday… yes, walking, I know.)

Has anyone any photos to share? I didn’t take any stills, myself, but I
did take some video (mostly of the trials stuff… I forgot I had a
camera most of the time) which I’ll post when I get back from Yellowstone
(anyone know any good places to ride? I’m flying out tomorrow and
planning to pack my muni.)

Yes it was a real blast. So much fun concentrated in one week makes going
back to work seem pretty … bad. I took some digital stills and will be
posting them within a day or two. Unfortunately not many of the MUni
events (I was riding!), but there are a few. We shot about 40 minutes of
video too.

I’m sorry you missed the MUni races on Saturday, and the Sunday ride which
was fantastic too. I’m really glad we were able to stay for that, although
it made for a long day, getting up at 7am to pack and check out of the
hotel, going riding, flying home, then finally going to sleep at 3am
Toronto time. But worth it for sure!

THANK YOU to all the Toronto Unicyclists who hosted us and worked so hard
to make this one of the best conventions ever.

Yes, going back to work after NUC is a bit of a shock. Thanks again to
Darren, Carl, and the whole crew for a wonderful convention!
