Short video of some single track in the snow. Been riding for 10 months at this point. Nothing special, but was fun too make.
Making videos is always good fun.
I always find that it’s harder to make cross country stuff look as good as stuff done in a solid definate environment like a skatepark. The bit where you roll off that rock was probably a lot harder than it looks in the video. You could try a lower camera angle.
Nice, simple, effective video.
Nice video. What kind of camera did you use?
Two things I think could be improved:
-
The sound. All I could hear is the music - the video would make a deeper impression if you can hear the sound recorded by camera too. In my opinion.
-
I think it’s just me, but I don’t like the “fancy” transitions. Not really a problem.
I hope you take this as constructive criticism, and not bashing/whining.
Looking forward to see your next video.
Thanks for the comments.
Yeah Hans, I went a little crazy with the transitions, this is the second movie of anything I have made. Will ratchet that back in the future. And on the sound thing, I used a gorilla pod and a very cheap camera that also takes video. It’s so cheap, that it does not record sound. I didn’t even know that until after the footage. The camera is a Gateway CD-T20 which came “free” with my laptop…
I didn’t take any of that as bashing, constructive criticism is always good. Thanks.
