A nice concept although the price seems a bit excessive. Probably more suited to the vast open areas of the USA rather than in UK traffic.

There is already such a system from the netherlands:
Most striking difference: a delta trike instead of a tadpole.
There’s somebody on the German recumbent forum who owns one, seems quite content… a little report in German is here
BTW, for a little short cut, there’s also the Flyke from Germany… its basis as a landcraft is the Flevo Trike, which again comes from the Netherlands.
