Are there any muni riders in Northeast Ohio? I’m coming to the Chardon area for a few weeks and was hoping to get to some of the Metroparks.
As far as I know, the Cleveland Metropark system is closed to bikes (and unis by extension) with the exception of one trail in the Bedford reservation. They were pretty aggressive about enforcing it.
Some parks in Lake County have open trails; I’ve ridden at Chapin Forest. It’s not very exciting, mostly smooth cross country ski trails, with one interesting rocky stretch.
I’m an ex-Clevelander, and I’ll actually be up there this weekend (Aug 11-12) if you’re there that soon. But otherwise I’m down here in Atlanta, and no help.
