i still can’t believe it. I’m going on a class field trip to Yosemite this next week, and they won’t allow me to bring my uni!!! What’ll i DO? Gar… ima gonna be SO outta practice when i get back. Well, this means i get to plan what i do the day i get back.
ok, it’ll be:
1)Unicycle til dark
2)drink a coke, or some sorta tasty thing
3) ride after dark
4) go in at an insanely late hour, or technically extremely early hour…
5) shower
6) sleep for a few hours
7) unicycle more when i get up
arg… you guys have NO idea how much i love this sport. i mean COME ON. NO UNICYCLES? in YOSEMITE? one of the BEST MUNIING PLACES EVER??

Awwww, that would suck, I know how you feel…When I work logging in the summer, I spend the week in the woods, PERFECT muni place, working, with NO MUNI. It does suck.
You could pioneer the sport of extreme off-road mincing. It’s almost exactly like muni-ing, but without the muni. Run along the trails with your legs going at the same cadence as they would be unicycling (hence the “mincing” part). If you get to any jumps you have to jump with your feet stationary. If you need to stand still you have to jump up and down slightly, or move backwards and forwards repeatedly. If the track gets bumpy dive headfirst into the bushes on occasion.
Take a pedal to whack into your shins for that extra edge of realism.

I’ve been doing that for years. You have to like run up tree and spin of them.
And earlier this summer I went on a handcart trek, and we put ski ropes behind our cart to help slow us down when we went down hills. I was like doing 360’s off trees and spinning the handle behind my back, and grinding on logs and a million other cool thing.
me’s back, and no, i warn’t exspecting the “Oh we’re gonna miss yoiyu guys” schpiel (sp?) but yeah. i’m wiped, and wow. so it is kinda wierd. i got better in some areas of my uniing and i’m outta practice for other things. like um… 1-footing. not so good at that now… gotta practice more.
