Most any tire that’s not black will work as non-marking. Most tires mark to a
certain degree, but it’s negligible compared to the big black circles you can
make with hard black (marking) tires. If you have a choice, shoot for white for
the least possibility of marks, but avoid treads with a strong center ridge or
big knobs. The best tire for learning or general riding is a nice, minimal,
smooth tread with a more-or-less round cross section. Stay on top,
