Nominate the Best JC Post of 2005!!! This year we’ll keep it simple. Next year, Gilby will be awarding cash prizes for different categories: Funniest Post, Most Astute, Nastiest, Should have been banned by WebMaster, etc.

You can explain why you nominate it if you like.

This year we’ll keep it simple. Here’s my nomination. I just love it:

I’ll side with JJuggle here… paying any more than a buck for a cuppa joe is like paying more than two dollars for a bottle of wine. At this point your taste buds have become more sophisticated than the rest of you.

Why not spend the extra dollars buying real Spam instead of the generic equivalent, eh yoopers? …and you said you couldn’t afford the real Spam!

I take my industrial coffee (brewed in our break room by the gallon) with a packet of hot chocolate mix. No sugar or cream necessary. It tastes like the chocolate has been run through a musty old sock but it gives me the “kick” to stay awake through my 9 AM meetings.

Re: Re: Ow! Ow! That must’ve hurt. I’m super paranoid about my laces getting caught on my Coker cranks. A fall from the Coker at speed with your shoe lace wrapped around the crank could cause serious injury. Because of that paranoia I always tuck my laces in before I go for a ride on the Coker. I nominate this one, where GILD opens up in a most heartfelt fashion to really give us a glimpse of his soul. It is not everyone that finds (and admits) their true love in JC. It was a tender and special moment.

Even though I’m not of Christian faith, this is a heartwarming story and very well written. Mike Fule and Jethro are my two favorite posters(Unfortunately Mike’s writeups are in RSU). They are the only people who can make long posts that I’ll read… sorry Foss and Childs but I dont read half your posts…
