NO uni's in Bike MS, NJ

I have also done an MS bike tour on a unicycle. It was the 2007 Waskesieu ride in Saskatchewan Canada. Since it is not the same country as you I don’t think that it would hold as strong a president as Tom in the Washington ride but might help.

I did not contact them first but knew that there was a unicyclist there in 2006 and I was told that he was doing it again that year. I spent 2 hours waiting for him at the last check point hoping to end the event together when one of his friends told me that he had hurt his knee and would not finish. I still ended up finishing ahead of half the riders and had an awesome time racing this older lady for the last 15km or so, she would pass me on the downs, I would pass her on the ups and we would cruise and talk on the flats.

In the MS tour that I rode in there were “bikes” and riders of all sorts including hand propelled tikes, tandems, people towing their kids, recumbents etc.

I’m going to let this one go by this year and possibly try next year. I am hoping to have completed a few other charity tours by then. My thinking is that using myself as an example in local events may work as a better selling point. Also I’m hoping word of mouth may bring it to their attention.
