No mudguards...

My muni’s got no mudguards… I’ve just come back from campus and I’m caked in the stuff. Ewww…

A great big “bah” to British weather. When will I next to be able to cycle somewhere without having to worry about puddles or slippery feet?

On the plus side, it’s got rid of the mud accumulated on Saturday, I suppose…

Could a THE fender fit on a unicycle? How do they attach in the first place? If it could work, it would look mighty cool

It didn’t really matter today… once the jeans had got a bit muddy it didn’t matter any more. I went on to campus later, blasting down possibly the muddiest route I could find… brilliant fun.

Also gave me the chance to show off a bit when I got there… someone said, “You’re covered in mud!” when I was inside, so I just said “yeah, my off-road unicycle doesn’t have mudguards…”

Ya- you use the one that attaches to the open end of the seat post. There is plenty of room on my Lucifer fork to accomodate :slight_smile:

I THE fendors might not work due to seatube/steer tube size? or maybe im wrong?

I really think a THE fender would look awsome on a uni. but perhaps the fender would rub against the unicyclist leg. It would look best backwards because the fender is bigger at the front and…

It would looks cool, especially when a DHer saw it! but would it break if it hit the ground?

This might be a good thing- I’v got holes worn through my Roach at the side of the knee plate; UPD’s onto gravel now meen I carry some home…
