I just got one as a gift yesterday, and well I know nothing about them. Except for the fact I saw that they have this nifty looking gun you can buy. So I have a question or 2 for you younger generation…What games would you recommend for Wii? And what games are out there that work great with the gun, is there any like house of hte dead or other games that are in arcades where you shot off the screen to reload? Are the guns very accurate…Im just curious what cool games are out there and what would you guys recommend…

i have no idea. i think you use the remote kind. i have a 360 so i don’t know anything about wii.
I liked it. You can use the regular controller and the chucks, or the other controller made for wiis.
I also like Super Mario Party. Good game to play with friends.
For the shooter game, get Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles. Its pretty sweet. We bought the gun adapter, but I havent used it yet, but you do just fine without it. The accuracy is 100% for me. No calibration or anything either.
Ok cause I have wii sports and on the home page when I point the controller at the screen it is waay off…
I haven’t played Brawl yet, but from what I’ve heard it’s a must buy. Doesn’t surprise me, the old Super Smash Bros. games are great (especially when you play with your friends; the game isn’t really meant to be played alone, although I’ve heard that the single player mode in Brawl is quite good).

Super Mario Galaxy is a good single player game. No need to explain this one right?
I think there is a House of the Dead game for Wii, but the reviews I’ve seen didn’t give that game a very good score. You might want to check out Resident Evil 4 or Metroid Prime 3: Corruption instead. Unfortunately I don’t know if you use the wiimote as a gun in these games.
I can’t wait till Super Mario Kart comes out.

Overall, those are pretty much the main games for the wii… I had a wii but I sold it and got a PS3, I just couldn’t really play the Nintendo animation stuff anymore and their games…
I’m pretty sure the only good game is wii sports because you get to swing that stick around.
LMao I seen that before, but if oyu notice he wasnt wearing hte wrist strap, they are prifty nifty lil things and have already saved my 56in flat screen from my lil cousin playin golf

Get smash bros, and Super Mario Soccer, Wii play is pretty cool too plus its a really cheap way of getting another controller and nunchuck. I don’t know much about the Wii as a system to play on your own, but its a great deal of fun with friends.
O and Guitar Hero!

Because I personally believe that twilight princess was the worst zelda game (excluding majoras mask) ever made… Well… the fishing mini game was fun.
