i really wanted plastic but i am interested as to how well the others preform, i mostly do street and flat, so feedback/other possibilitys is wanted/welcomed
I was in the same situation as you. I wanted to buy the twisted pc pedals but they don’t have them. Do to a mix up I ended up with both the stock pedals and the plastic dx pedals. The stock have amazing grip but they have already ripped the back of my leg open twice:( So I have put on the plastic dx ones and they have ok grip and don’t make me bleed;) I am planning on buying some twisted plastics cause it sounds like they have better grip then the plastic dx’s and they’ll take off less skin then the stock:p
What I’m trying to say here is that I think that you should just get the stock pedals and order some twisteds from somewhere else.
i have the stock pedals(metal dx) and they are crazy grippy but painful i missed a mount on my 29er and barely hit my shin and it still tore my skin though pants
yeah what:p
i have 661’s but i was not going to be riding long and i dont were any gear unless i am trying to learn something new
i need to buy a helmet but never have money when i finish buying uni stuff
it is nice to only have to pay shipping once
i hope udc gets them back into stock soon i want them for my trials.
Personally, I would say go for the Cielenkis(Spelling, yes).
After getting used to them, I found I really liked them for street, but I always wear shinguards.
Gar. The unending battle between plastic and metal…
Are Magnesium pedals worth it? Maybe some mag wellgos? That is what I was thinking.
Either that or I guess I will go with the PCs.
Any help would be appreciated. I hope this does not count as a thread jack.
iv been thinking about getting these for a while…i already ordered some twisted pc’s but i think im prolly gonna get some kona jacksh*ts they look nice
