Nice cranks?

I was looking for some new pedals for my trials uni and got distracted, this is what i found. What do you think? Probably alright for Muni, but they are square taper. Its a shame that the other bmx cranks are so long because they would be great for trials.

They are cool but they are sqaure taper, so it wouldn’t be that strong. And if your getting new pedals i highly recomend animal hamilton pedals, they are pretty new. They’re like jim c’s but lighter.

Im looking at getting some DK Iron cross pedals, maybe! They have 60 pins! They are almost solid plates, I want to grind one side completly flat for grinds. Maybe a cheap set on ebay.

Those cranks aren’t a square taper like you think. They won’t fit any available unicycle hub. They’re a special design by Primo BMX. They fit an oversized square spindle, and I don’t think the square spindle has a taper. Here’s a picture of the Primo bottom bracket with the oversized square spindle for their Powerbite cranks. Oh, didn’t realise that the primo spindle was oversized! Thanks for clearing that up JC!
I wonder if an oversized square axle would be comparable to a splined axle on a unicycle. Might be worth investigating.

i dont want to sound dumb or anything, what are the grub screws on the cranks for, exactly??

The grub screws are to eliminate any play in the cranks, overkill if you ask me. There should not be any play if the cranks and axle are machined to tolerance correctly, unless they are damaged when they are fitted.
