Re: NFL Playoff picks

Jets over Indy
Packers over Falcons
Steelers over Browns
49ers over Giants

Guess I agree with Mike on every pick…

My superbowl prediction is:

Philly vs. Tennesee (or maybe Oakland)

Re: NFL Playoff picks

I’d like to see Oakland make it to the Superbowl. And I’d like Philly
to win it.

Re: NFL Playoff picks

I think Tennessee vs. Philadelphia is the most likely, and with a
healthy McNabb the Eagles win it all.

On another note, I’d take Ohio St to beat the 12.5 point spread against
Miami in the Fiesta Bowl.

Wow, so people outside of Philly think the Eagles actually have a
chance? You’ve got to admit, they played a POOR game on Saturday, and
got real lucky that Green Bay lost yesterday.

Re: NFL Playoff picks

The fact that Philly has done as well as they have with both their
second and third string QB’s is impressive. I didn’t see the game
Saturday, but I do know one thing: their defense gave up over 450 total
yards and still only allowed 10 points, including overtime. I didn’t
even think that was possible. If McNabb comes back the offense should
be more consistently productive, so yeah, I’m thinking they’ll go to the
big game. Greenbay isn’t a very good team - they’ve gotten a lot of
help from the officials this season (take the Minnesota game, for
example) and in general they’ve looked bad… even when they beat the
49ers, it was more that the 49ers played like crap (which they’ve been
doing a lot lately) than it was to GB’s credit.

Overall i’m routing for Tennessee - I think it’d be cool for a team with
no pro-bowl players to go all the way. Plus, they’ve won 11 of their
last 12 and are on a hot streak just like the Patriots last year…

That’s only because NY scored two TD’s that were called back on silly
holding penalties. The Eagles should have lost that game by 14 points.

Looks like I got three out of four (but then again, who would have ever
thought that Atlanta would win at Lambeau Field?

And how about today’s games?!?! The Steelers and the 49’ers coming back
from behind to win the game with minutes left? Wow.

And I have to say: someome please tell the Giants to grow up and act
like adults. Their behavior at the end of the game was pathetic.

Let’s go Eagles!!!

With Michael Vick, I think Atlanta has a shot!

Re: NFL Playoff picks

The play-offs are good this year. Lots of very close games.

Re: NFL Playoff picks

Especially that Shockey guy… he may be good, but the guy was friggin’
celebrating after a six yard catch that wasn’t even for a first down.
He makes Terrell Owens look downright gracious - and at least Owens only
does his major celebrating after scoring a big TD. Actually, today was
quite surprising… after he scored both times the first thing he did
was run back to Garcia to celebrate.

Re: NFL Playoff picks

That guy is incredible… you can tell why Steve Young has taken him
under his wing (they’re both lefties and have a very similar playing
style). And he’s still only 22.

When you watch Vick play, it’s almost like he’s not playing in the same
league. Especially when he takes off and runs. He’s just that much faster
than everyone else.
