Newie

Hello
im just starting to ride the unicycle been using my friends for the moment… ive been looking all over my town for a store that sells one locally… anyone in San Clemente, CA know any local uni stores?

I cannot speak for Canada of course, but the local bike shops here that have unicycles, sell dangerous contraptions. Some even look trial capable. But the knowing eye will see the shabby quick release, thin walled rim and cruel saddle.

Do yourself a favour buy a Torker to get started (this forum has lots of info about the quality of different models). Once you have an idea which style suits you most, you can put your money into something more fancy.

thanks

I do have a idea about torkers im looking for a 20" inch. which do you think is better a LX or CX

Lx.

Lx

Torker LX is a GREAT beginner unicycle. I highly recommend it. You can get one on Amazon.com for around $100. And it holds up really well. The only flaw i’ve had was that the spokes have rusted a little but if you spray anti rust spray on them right when you get it should be fine.

Torker LX is the ideal learning unicycle.

thanks

wow i didnt really think i was going to get replys so quickly hah … thanks

hey what do you guys know about Sun unicycles? at least that what i think is the name.

I would go with Torker instead of Sun. I have a Sun 20" and a Torker CX 24". The CX is much better than the Sun. If you can get a Torker LX (as others have suggested), that would be even better.

And maybe some leg armor, to protect your peculiar skin.

That’s one more of us, one less of them.

poor brother
