Hi, my boyfriend really wants a unicycle for Christmas, but I have no idea what size to get. He’s around 6’2" and weighs 215, so I was thinking 24"? If anyone could help that would be so so appreciated!
yup a 24 would be about ideal. A Torker LX 24 would be a good budget conscious choice. If he is hard on equipment and you have a little bit more of a budget I would consider a 24" Nimbus II.
Lucky boyfriend. Most people learn on a 20", but as he is taller than average, a 24 would be ideal.
If he takes to the sport, then it won’t be the last one he owns, but we all remember our first.
If you go to unicycle.com you are dealing with people who understand the sport, and won’t sell rubbish. Far better than buying whatever you can get from a local bike shop.
See if they’ll do “buy one get one free” - it could open up a whole new chapter in your relationship.

You might compare the tire widths of the two recommendations. The Nimbus is probably a good percentage wider. Considering his weight, it will roll over bumps, etc. easier during the learning process.
