Ok so i used to play World of Warcraft way back in the day, i was searching through my old files and found the game hidden away and my question to you is: should i buy a new gamecard and continue playing or should i wash my hands with it and forget it existed?
please help for i am unable to make my own decisions, kind of like all those people with the ‘which uni should i buy’ threads
argg horde… i have only ever been aliance, i have a level 50 somthing night elf (rogue) and a level 20 odd human something.
yeah ok i will buy it, the money will just be wasted on alcahol anyways…
WoW is such a waste of time. It can eat people. Really. I’ve seen it. People who waste SO much time on WoW it’s crazy… People get addicted to it to the point where they go to school (sometimes…) and any time that they are at home is 100% WoW.
Get off it. Save your money and buy another unicycle, and you can save your time and ride it!
I vote try getting Guild Wars, similar games but u dont pay monthly. Also since the highest level is 20 u need not spend a vast amount of time to be good.

I say play it. When I’m (not incredibly) drunk and alone at home it gives me something to do.
I mean, sure, the first few times I played it whilst intoxicated I would sell all of my stuff and buy it back for half-price…but now they’ve changed it so you can get your stuff back for the same amount you sold it for…anyways, I just started playing again, too. I have a level 14 Orc Rogue, and a level 34 Orc Shaman…Yeah, I’ve never reached 60…so what?! you wanna fight about it!@?..it’s fun though, haha. My lvl34 is my older character, and he’s f’ing leet.
In conclusion; you can spend your alcohol money on both. Buy a bottle/case of beer, drink up, play WoW. It’s fun!
i never play seriously and the only reason one of my charcters is over level 50 is because my friend played him heaps to get him up there. in reality all i do is run around and yell at people.
Bought one, as for getting drunk whilst doing it, we got whacked once and played for a while, it was rather funny, saying that all the girl players are not really girsl becaues they just want to be a girl so when they are lonely they can take the clothes off her and look around…
haha, a friend of mine plays with 56k!
He has to wait all night to download the updates, whereas I only have to wait a few minutes…he was banned for 72hrs for saying something profane…I dont remember what it was but there is a profanity filter, so it doesn’t make sense to me that someone could complain that someone else was being vulgar when it’s up to them whether or not they can read bad words…
oh well, it wasn’t me!
I have to wake up early tomorrow morning (technically, later this morning), so no WoW for me tonight.
The only way the game will ‘eat you’ is if you allow it, and thats not possible for you. Your gonna have a unicycle and girlfriend who will want your attention, and possibly pry you away form the game anyways.
I still enjoy playing some MMORPGs every now and then when I get time to, but I dont play for hours a day.
Ive never been able to play for very long anyway, the most i think i played for was 2 hours after school once. i just like the fact that i can dang around and talk to people. the actual mission things shit me.
Yeah the girlfriend saw the gamecard and frowned and well… dad is ordering my KH 2007 trials at the end of the week !!!
and burjthingyletters, i have to be up at five thirty every morning to host breakfast radio no late night anythings for i
NOOOOO! MMOS ARE BAD FOR HEALTH! I’ve 2 Guild Wars accts myself (they’re complimentary, not that I’m hardcore) and I have this acquaintance who has clocked like 2000+ hours on it. She’s got no life and it’s sad.
Problem is, if you spend money on a gamecard, you’d WANT to play your money’s worth and you’ll be sad like her too.
Anyone who says MMO’s are addictive is talking out of their ass. It is not difficult at all to juggle unicycling, school, work, other past-times, and casual WoW playing…I do it now. Time management isn’t as difficult as people think.
