i need help, i already have a two 20" uni’s one for trials and the other for freestyle and i recently destroyed my 28" rim, which is in excuse to upgrade to some thing a bit more tougher.
as it will be a while before i can afford another wheel or uni again should i get a 24" or a 26" muni wheelset?
i would be using it for generally getting around and muni duties seeing as i get knackered going anywhere on my 20". i have never really ridden either of these wheel sizes before so i dont know how they compare or if the bigger wheels tend to be to big and clumsy?
Depends. A 24" is better for more extreme muni, but a 26" is a bit faster for getting around and doing long cross country rides. Personally I’d advise getting a 24" muni unless you are intending to do really long cross country rides. Especially if you want to do any big hops or drops during muni rides.

For “generally getting around” I love my 26"x2.5" Hookworm tire on a
uni with 125mm cranks. This wheel is still small and tough enough to
try some freestyle tricks on, but, while not exactly fast, efficient
enough to get around town.
For “MUni duties” I like my 24"x3" MUni with 175mm cranks. It is so
different - because of factors other than the 1" change in diameter -
that I don’t consider them similar. I definitely prefer one for
street use and the other for off road.
I’d say go with 26" if you spend more time on the streets; 24" if
riding off road is more important to you. For technical MUni you
don’t need the extra weight.
