I finally finished my Ultimate wheel today, and got to ride it for the first time. I originally got the insert from the unicycle factory about six months ago, but the project sat around half finished until now. Its pretty cool have a unicycle that you built yourself.
I was able to ride it more than I was expecting today. I’m able to freemount, and ride for more than 50ft, although not consistently. I also managed to stick the kickup mount a couple times, and I almost managed to nail the rolling mount, but I was never able to ride out of it. I also had a pretty nasty fall while attempting a rolling mount.
riding a UW is SO much fun. People at my school, who are used to seeing me unicycle, where pretty amazed with it.
