What’s your name? Rich
Where do you come from? Good question. Original from UK. Learnt to ride a unicycle while living in Australia. Improved on a 36" while living in Philadelphia and France and Spain and the Netherlands. Now downsized to a 32" here in Belgium
What is your experience of unicycling? Various trail rides since 2009
Being an over 50’s rider I do get quite a few comments but don’t we all

Welcome
I am also from Belgium, West Flanders.
I am 35 now and have been riding for a good 4 years, mostly off-road with my 27.5 unicycle.
Other than that, I have never unicycled with anyone else.
You do also offroad?
Hi,
Sure do. Mostly with my 32 as pretty flat here around Hasselt. I have a 2hr loop mix of canal path and single track trails.
Maybe see you around sometime
Cool, for me it’s always a bit of a drive, but I’ve been to that area before too. C Mine and the various slag heaps of Beringen and such.
I sometimes go to the Ardennes as well; there are beautiful trails there, and quite dangerous too if you fall badly. But anyway, in Belgium you have to make do with what you have.
Sometimes I do get the urge to buy a 36-inch, but I can’t find anywhere to try it out to see if I would like it; maybe you can help me with that.
Regards, Kevin

@Rich963 welcome and you do speak Dutch right? I’m from NL btw.
Hi,
Nope only English.
You can try my 32 but depending on your height mounting is different. When I was 50 I found I started to struggle to mount the 36 but the 32 is much easier and hardly any slower.
I used to have a giraffe but with all the moving around we do it had to go
I was answering Kneupje, where I see he updated his reply to English, that he could visit the Dutch championships and there he would no doubt be able to ride a 36".
I have about all size unicycles myself (15 unicycles in total). The only size lacking is the 27.5" and I don’t have giraffes. I’ve ridden a lot with the 29" muni and the 32 is very similar in size, so mounting isn’t that hard.
When did you start riding? I’ve been riding for 11 years and this year will turn 51.
