New unicyclist in the family!

This evening she did it!!!

My 8 years old daughter, rode her 16" learner freely!!!
After 2 weeks (6 hours net), she left my hand and rode about 200m, later she did it again and again. She even got some “WELL DONE” from passers-by…

It was one of those magic moments, that I’m sure you all felt.

She was so excited, that she refused even to stop to get rest or water

Now it makes us 3 unicyclist of 4 family members (my wife doesn’t ride…yet), and I can’t wait for weekend to do our first ride together!!!

How about you? Do you also find unicycling with family members super-fun activity?

Mazel tov!

Toda

I wouldn’t know anything about it. :frowning:

Congrats UVcycle

I wish my present husband was able to ride a uni, but all is not lost, I cycle round on the grass while he flies his rc gliders. So at least I can be with him while he does ‘his thing’.
Ain’t love a wonderful thing.

I’ve never been unicycling with a group, maybe when I get better at it I might.

Elaine

Thanks Alucard
My wife usually walk with our dog behind us when we ride, so when we pass by other people, she gets there minute later and hear all the funny comments about us.
Later she inform us with all the details, it’s very amusing how people react to unicyclists :)

You don’t uni in a group when you get better. You uni in a group to get better.

Congrats to your daughter!

Thanks Revobuzz

Elaine,

Does that imply that your next husband will ride a uni?:stuck_out_tongue:

Or maybe her absent husband.
