Well, one friend of school loved street unicycling and will buy today or tomorrow a Nimbus with KH cranks. I’m really happy because he lives about 100m from my house and he’s from my school class
He registered in the forum today, he’s username is guilhermeteles.
Now i have some to ride with and probably soon we will release a video together
He’s just learning to unicycle but we can ride always together
A guy in Minas Gerais (about 700km from São Paulo) bought a Koxx-One devil, and other guy in the south bought a QU-AX!!!
I’m really happy, the sport is growing here… Slowly but is growing!
I received some emails from guys that want to learn to unicycle, or to learn new tricks. The biggest problem is the price of the unis for us
I know that the topic is old but Im here to say that I just bought a Nimbus Phantom with KH 137mm cranks today. Im really excited and I can’t wait to ride on it. It is supposed to arrive in a week.xDDD
While, Im riding in a commun unicycle that Pedro borrow me.
Bye
We don’t buy it in Brazil cause there aren’t stores in Brazil that sell trial/street unicycles the only hardware you can buy here is bike parts that fit on unicycles.
The shipping isn’t TOO expensive… We’re not far away from USA, and there is an intense traffic of products from USA to Brazil. UPS and Fedex are really big here!
The biggest problems are the taxes. About 70% of the total price (shipping+product)!
I don’t know how imports/tariffs work in Brazil, but if its like it is in the US, but I’m sure there are some fellow unicyclists who will sell you stuff and declare it as a low value gift, so you won’t have to pay any taxes on it.
