New? Unicycle supplier?

Just got a Big Sporting goods catalog from SPORTIME of Atlanta, GA (Jugglebug is
now part of SPORTIME). They supply school PE programs.

They now sell 3 sizes of uni’s 16" 18" & 20"

Prices about $110-140.

No information on maker but they look VERY sturdy in the SMALL picture in the
catalog and SPORTIME is known for heavy duty equipment.

In the past, Sportime has carried unicycles from Hedstrom. These unicycles had
air tires, but otherwise were well down the quality and durability scale from
the average Taiwan unicycle. Hedstrom is best known for tricycles and juvenile
cycles. If their unicycles are offered with training poles, it’s probably still
them. I would not recommend the Hedstrom.

It’s unfortunate, because when schools want to order equipment like unicycles,
they are often forced to choose from what’s available in catalogs like Sportime,
and not able to order from their local bike shop, for instance. Or they just
don’t know better.
