New Unicycle.com Web sites

Dear fellow unicyclists:

Our new Unicycle.com Web sites serving the USA and the UK are up and running. Roger Davies and I have been working on improvements for some time, and we’re delighted to share our progress with you. Your kind support, suggestions and guidance have made this possible, and we
thank you.

Our partnership with Roger has given us access to a wide variety of
products, and our relationship has been very complementary. His depth of
knowledge has helped us solve many challenges. Roger visited us earlier
this year and even appeared on our “Introduction to Unicycling” video.
Amy and I are excited to see the growing number of unicycling products
in his catalog(ue), and his growing service to European = customers.

Here in the States, you’ve enabled us to secure a 3,200-square-foot
warehouse this year. We’re stocking nearly 1,000 unicycles at any
given time and serving all of North America. We’ve expanded brands
like Pashley and Semcycle, and we’ve added new brands like United,
Wilder (designed by MUniac-man Scott Bridgman) and soon-to-be
announced cycles designed by Kris Holm. More brands and more
exciting products are coming.

We’re also planning more enhancements to our Web sites. We’re working on
a comprehensive education section and a state-of-the-art ‘Build Your
Custom Unicycle’ section. Stay tuned!

In the USA, visit: http://www.unicycle.com Contact: john@unicycle.com

In the UK, visit http://www.unicycle.uk.com Contact: roger@unicycle.uk.com

If you have any troubles navigating our sites, please email us with
corrections or suggestions. We appreciate your patience. Our old site,
http://www.unicyclesource.com will be available for a few more weeks,
just in case.

All the best, and Happy Thanksgiving Day to our fellow Americans - John &

Hi John !

Some items that were listed on unicyclesource.com are not anymore on the
new site. Does that mean that they’re out of stock ? (eg. some Pashley
Munis, Semcycle, etc.)

Thank,

Christian.

I couldn’t see every item using Netscape but could see all items when using MS Explorer. I don’t know about other browsers.

Hi Harper.

My name is Chris Williams and I am the developer for unicycle.com. John
informed me of the problem you were having with Netscape. I have fixed the
problem. Do you mind looking at the site again with Netscape?

Thank you,

Chris Williams

Chris-

Good work. You’re fast. I seem to be able to find everything with Netscape now.

Product Reviews

Thanx for including the product review option. This is a great resorce I hope we all take advantage of.

Christopher LeFay

Thanks for checking, Harper. Glad it’s working smoothly now. Netscape is
real finicky about the smallest things.

Hi all,

I think it is fair to say that both John and myself are struggling to
get our new sites to behave as we wish them to at the moment! So we
would like to ask you to please be patient with the sites, all should be
sorted in the next few days. For instance you might notice that the UK
site does not look as if it has changed at all, because migration
through the DNS servers has been criminally slow! We would appreciate
any comments you have about the new sites, we are always looking for
ways to improve our service. The 2 sites are not identical in look or
function due to our slightly different requirement, please feel free to
comment on either. Thanks,

Roger

Mr. Williams,

It would be great to have a ticker indicating the number of reviews on the main page for a product- it would make this feature more usefull.

Thanx, keep up the good work,

Christopher LeFay

Lovely site, just wish i could afford to buy something  maybe Chrimbo.
