New UK Muni addict!

Hi, ive been in and out of the forums for a few weeks now and thought it was about time i said hello;)

im 31 yrs old and started unicycling about 2 months ago. got a 24" Qu-Ax Muni for xmas and i am having a great time out in the English countryside with it. i never thought i would get gripped so much by it but i am out every other day for an hour or two.

quick thank you to the guys that have been posting videos and tutorials as i have been studying up and slowly getting to grips with it thanks to your willingness to share.

i have been amazed at the diversity in ages and types of person that unicycle and hope to see it grow in the UK. i will be doiing my part by getting my three children up and about on one wheel as soon as i can and selling it to everyone i meet!

I am in the British Army and therefore move around alot and i will take the uni’s wherever i go…hope to see some of you out and about.

laters

Rob

Hi Rob,

Welcome, you will meet a lot of nice people on this forum.

I started two years ago, and I still have that adrenaline feeling when unicycling off-road.
The good thing is, there is no end to what you can achieve.

I guess motorcycles are your second hobby?

Welcome to the forums Rob! Glad to hear your getting into muni

Hi Rob, It’s probably unlikely that you would ever find yourself in my neck of the woods but if you are give me a shout. It’ll be interesting to read future posts on your experiences muni-ing too.
Cheers, Joseph.

Thanks for the replies…

unfortunatly i have to admit that motorcycles are my first love, but one a postive note i have been riding around on one wheel (to save wear on the front tire!) for many years

I have started to get the hop going and was very happy with completing a 4 mile cross country route the other day. Absolutly knackering but amazing fun.

Im having a bit of trouble getting the idle cracked but from what i can see its just a case of perseverence and practice, practice, practice.

Ill try to give regular updates as to my progress and look forward to meeting up with some other unicyclists in the future.

Rob
