new trials uni!!!!

Last I read, you can use Koxx cranks on the 2007 KH Hub.

Ok well i guess some one who acctually knows will chime in soon and give us he answer…

http://www.unicycle.uk.com/shop/shopdisplayproduct.asp?catalogid=900
on the bottom off the page it states that the kh cranks will fit all isis hubs except koxx
but it does not matter anyway

Yes but… the KOXX CRANKS are supposed to fit the KH HUB.

the isis battle may never end I dont care

well i think ur selection is a nice uni.

Just well the cranks… if u do mostly trial with a bit of street go for the Koxx1 reinforced… The koxx 135 street arent as tough as the koxx1 reinforced.

I got the koxx1 hub with 140mm koxx cranks and i really like it… tbh i couldnt tell much difference with the KH 137’s just that the 137s have more Q factor, which is a good thing and a bad thing…

U seem to be after the colour though… so just go for it you wont regret it… and if ur not a big beast and dont plan on breaking ur uni, just go for the koxx 135’s

thanks so do you think the q factor makes a big diffrence for skinnys and pedal grabs? dam I cant make uo my mind. And no Im not a chuck beast so the street cranks are a posibliity

Q-Factor helps pedal grabs I believe. So if you do a lot of pedal grabs… I’d go with the Kris Holm cranks.

hm
NO
q factor is the distance between pedals, but the cranks contribute to it.

and it does make it easier to crank grab, unless you are crankgrabbing a rail or something skinny.

koxx cranks do fit on the moment hub, but there is a lot of space, so it makes the cranks wobble. the koxx cranks and hubs have a larger diameter than the kh and qu-ax so koxx cranks are universal, but not recomended on anything but koxx.

So its quite unsafe to ride Koxx cranks on the KH hub.

Sounds like it.

anyone tried these pedals they they look prety strong and there real lite.
Or ill get so animal or hoffman sol mate pedals what you think?

Don’t buy sealed.

You will break them much quicker than unsealed.

hmmm

NO

thats the term used for bicycling. we accepted that for unicycling it would be used as the angling of the cranks outwards.

see?

I just got the hoffman sole mate pedals and they are awesome. They grip really well, they are pretty light and the pins thread into nuts that are placed in the pedal body so if you strip it out you just get a new nut from a hardware store. Its cool because you will never strip out the pedal body itself.

i got my mettalic orange jimmy cs thursday and they are sweet!!! nice and grippy and huge. easy to spot and aim for when you heading back to earth after a unispin

Hey, I’m in the market for new pedals. The hoffman pedals sound pretty sweet, but do you think they would be grippy enough for trials?
