I made it, all the way to PA from WA. Two dogs, two canaries, a kid and me in a 24" Uhaul cab towing the buggy on a trailer, the cat residing within the car with chicken wire over the windows for safety and venthilation in the searing heat. The cello was riding in the car, too and it popped one of its seams. The hide glue softens in the heat. The cat made it fine, tho.
Sounds like a bit of Berverly hillbililes! After a week in a Uhaul, did I miss my unicycles.
I have arrived, so to speak, hung my unis up in the basement on tidily spaced hooks, and went for my first coker ride. There are hills here! A new challenge for me on the coker. The trailhead is two houses from mine, so it is very convenient. Many miles will follow.
I hope to make many unifriends here, although I haven’t heard of many in the State College area. At least one, the Obie One. May be time to start a club and generate more interest!
The new job starts in a week. I hope it is as nice as my new digs!
Nice to be back on the forum.
