New to Unicycling

Can someone suggest a good unicycle to get started on?

I haven’t ever considered unicycling, but a guy rides with our bike club
on Saturday on his big 36" unicycle.

Derek, Why don’t you borrow my 24" Miyata? I don’t ride it much anyhow.
That way, just in case you decide you don’t like unicycling, you won’t
be out any money. Would you like me to bring it to the zoo tommorrow?

I wrote up a bit on the assorted unicycle components on my site @

recommend any one unicycle in particular but does outline some of the
things to look out for.
