new to uni...

im new to unicycling, and was wondering why people are so against lolly pop
bearing holders? the uni i have has this set up and so far its o k by
me.but,im just learning. so can some one explain why lolly pop bearing
holders are bad. thank you. Shane.

from the little bit I know on the subject, it seems that lolly-pop bearing holders are not all that bad in and of themselves… But it seems that cheaper unicycles (like those made in Taiwain and sold under brand names like CyclePro) tend to have a loose fit between the frame and the bearing holder. This loose fit causes stress at that point and eventually can cause the frame to crack or the bolt holes to widen. From what I’ve heard, this doesn’t seem to be a problem on higher quality unis like the Pashley MUni.
