does anyone else think it would be cool to have another section on these forums for people to post there unicycle videos since they come up often. just a thought.

The idea of dividing the existing forums into several parts has come up recently. I think a forum for videos (and other media) is a pretty good idea.
This is the only one of the forum division related ideas that I like, but I would be happy either way.

I will just support what has already been said. Videos should have their own place so it will be easy to find them if you want a video!
I do like the idea for a forum section for video announcements, picture announcements, or other gallery related announcements. Those types of posts can get lost in the RSU forum. But any new forum section should be in addition to and not instead of the RSU forum. The announcements should also be made to the RSU forum. If a new forum section means that these types of announcements won’t be made in the RSU forum then I’m not for a new section.

While it sounds like a good idea, i have doubts as to its effectiveness. It is hard enough to keep non-unicycling posts out of RSU and I worry that the sanctity of this new forum section will not be protected. The video posts in RSU are always labelled as such and the chronological ordering of the gallery both aid in identifying videos with ease.
Perhaps a solution would be a thread that would ONLY contain links to videos in the gallery. Such a thread would be found easily with a simple search and would contain enough videos to please anyone. Unfortunately, such an ideal thread could never exist, as many pointless posts would soon fill its many pages. In the last couple months I recall posting at least once a small list of [great] videos that seemed to please those in search of videos at the time, and I imagine that it could be revived pretty easily.
