Grandma (the boy’s grandma, my mommy) just sent us some pictures she took of the Pumpkin Fest parade while she was visiting here from Oklahoma. The boys and I rode our unicycles as part of the Spectre Soccer Club entry in the parade.
Well, the parade wound down through the neighborhoods toward downtown where all the festivities took place. All 10,000 or so pumpkins were there. It’s an amazing sight!

Very nice Bruce. I like the image of Ben jumping over the “victim”.
Thanks, Jason. It took some convincing to talk the young lady into letting Ben jump over her. But once she went through with it, she thought it was the greatest thing and spent quite a bit of the parade repeating the jump.
I especially liked the crowd’s reactions. I had another two pictures of Ben performing a jump over someone but they are not available. In the first picture as he is approaching the “victim”, the crowd in the background is looking around and not paying attention. In the second picture, Ben is in mid-air on the downside of the jump and the same people are bending around each other trying to look, pointing, etc. all with their mouths hanging open. It’s the greatest of comparison photos and I really wish I had them. But the owners of the pictures seem to have lost the files.
