New nimbus disc hubs

Does anyone know about these? Rumor has it that they are coming out with ones that are made of one piece that are better. Is this true? How long is it going to be till they are available? What’s better about one piece vs two. Why are you wasting time answering my lame questions.

I have a one piece 32 hole nimbus hub so yes they are real, the multi piease hubs can creak or break over time but the one piease won’t. That work for ya?

^ because he’s not in school and not working

Whereas as I am at work, but not working :stuck_out_tongue:

One piece hubs have been available for some time. The Nimbus 32h Oregon disc hub is available now, just go to the UDC site.

One piece hubs are stronger than two piece hubs, but it’s no reason to rebuild your wheels or buy a new uni, unless you are an absolute gear whore or you have a squeaky hub.

The one piece is a slightly heavier, all steel vs steel and aluminum.

So what are the chances that the hub in my new Nimbus 26 Muni will be one piece? How can you tell the difference?

The flange is welded to the hub body.

I think all of the Nimbus non disc ISIS hubs are one piece now.

It certainly appears that way.
