purdy nifty! but to mee it look slike the back bolts wont fit, cause the weld goes up the the edge…am i right?
nope right through the center
no no, you dont get what im saying, the weld goes tot the edge of the hole, and the head of the bolt overlays aobut 1-2mm.
heres a beter view
theres no pic mate…
Same pic mate…
i know
well try it on a kh seat and se if im right.
there pretty much the same
I have a reinforcement like that. I wonder how much that weighs, because I htink mine’s pretty heavy.
its not verry heavy
Next time pfft, forget the tube part that hooks to the seat, just make the front like the back, light and looks strong if it has a good weld.
The front part that extends out to the handle is the key. The front part keeps the saddle from flexing which keeps the stiffener plate from cracking, which keeps the seat base from breaking. Without the front part you end up with flexy and broken seats.
The other solution is to put a thick metal stiffener plate inside the seat that extends the full length of the seat base. Or go all out and get a carbon fiber seat base.
