new Hawaii MUni film- name needed

My vote is for something like “MuniKea” in homage to the highest point on the island: Mauna Kea

Failing that you could take ques from Rainbow Bridge the hendrix film. Some great muni music on that film.

I’d love to but I don’t have rights over the footage, actually I haven’t seen much of the footage myself because the film is edited/produced in Germany for the European Outdoor Film Tour (EOFT).

It’s really short- just under 3 minutes edited down from 6 days of riding, but this is actually the best length for festivals as it basically guarantees that festival organizers can fit the film into their screening schedules.

Thanks for the input on names. I think that EOFT plans to tour it with the title “Kris Holm Rocks Hawaii” which isn’t exactly the title I would have chosen, and I want to think of something else for other film tours.

Any other suggestions, let me know!

I have seen the German TV show a couple of months ago with about 10 minutes of your riding on Hawaii in it. Got it taped too. So is this different material?

No it’s the same footage but edited into a film festival piece, just the action but none of the buildup&hype. However, I never did see the TV show so I don’t know whether different raw footage was selected for the film festival version compared to the TV show.
