New Handle for MUni/Trials

I like the look of the handle but I would be concerned about holding the handle
with only one hand. I would imagine that hand fatigue and overuse would be
excellerated by holding with just one hand. Can you hold on to the angled handle
with either hand?

I took a picture of a seat on a “self-made” racing unicycle at Unicon. It was
made by Marc Häefliger of Switzerland. Marc used this saddle in the track events
and had a similar saddle on the uni he used to play basketball. It is a rather
uncomfortable looking device, and I wouldn’t recommend it for MUni, but the
handle looks good. It would be easily held with gloves and could be used with
either hand. You can see the seat at:

As I recall the base of the seat is a piece of tire rim and the handle is a
stock MTB end piece that was welded on to the seat base.

Interesting. This is more like what I was envisioning when Chris first posted
his idea about an extended handle. The only difference was that I’d pictured it
attaching to the seat post.
