New comment?

Mr. Wiggins and I went for some muddy muni yesterday.
First comment of the day from a small child: “Look! A bike with
one seat.”…

Just about everybody we met was very positive, with someone
referring to muni as a sport for a change (without prompting  ).
We also had “Now I’ve seen it all - cross-country unicycling”, and
some impressed DH bikers showing us a new track.

There was thick mud everywhere, and I’m amazed I could ride
half of what I did. I don’t think I’ve survived wheel spins before. It was
great fun, though I think the coffee shop people would rather I had sat
outside ;-).

Arnold the Aardvark

talk about lateral thinking!

next we’ll probably have a bag lady exclaim “look! a bike with only 36 spokes!”

Re: New comment?

Strangely enough I got someone saying how do you ride that one seater bike this lunch time.

Mud is indeed excellend fun and you should head down my way for another muddy muni fix this weekend!

Joe

I have to test this out. I’m putting another seat on one of my unicycles and see if it suddenly becomes VERY stable.

Can’t make that, Joe. Mud has always been a problem for me, and I was
happy to do quite well yesterday, but the sort of
riding-in-the-dark-through-
Hell’s-own-quagmire that you probably intend would be over-stretching me
slightly.

Have fun.

What’s that I hear you singing, Greg? “…on a ***cycle built for two!”
