I’ve been taunting myself for the longest time on this lens and I finally went for it. This means more sweet unicycling photos as soon as I find some other unicyclists to photograph… SWEET! I’m so excited. Should provide some nice bokeh!

I’ve been really wanting a nice ultra wide lens for my XT, although the next 500 dollars I put down on something is probably going to be a coker.
Nice. Ultra wide is sort of a problem with the chop frame cameras… like the XT. This lens wont nearly have the wide effect as it would on a 1.3x or FF model. However, it will still be awesome, and ready for the new body when I decide to upgrade (another 25,000 cycles to go!).
well kyle, i have to say im impressed that you went through with the buy—come on back down to freeport and we’ll get a ride together that you can shoot at.
by the way, my dads going to let me screw around with his old film body (yes, i know, film is out dated, but i like it) so im gonna start shooting too, but probaly not any action shots yet…

Mine’s bigger.
17-85mm Canon lens on my 20D. It doesn’t have that big sunshade on the front though. Mike Penton switched lenses with me for part of the Trials competition at Unicon and I got some great super-wide shots there, but my next lens will probably be something with a longer focal length. I’m more often too far away than too close.

i just got some new fischer classic skis, i like skate so much more, but it kind of needed to happen.
i just got this in a 156.
i got it with a pro-form(being “in the industry” has its perks) so it was super cheap. 
next purchase will be a KH 24".
