Quick post. Received my new Oracle today and took it out for its first ride. Did a 7 mile ride last night here in Columbia, SC, and was amazed by the new speed and stability. WOW I Love it… Can’t wait to take this beast off-road.
I have been riding a 24" muni for about 3 years and I finally took the plunge on a bigger wheel. Went with the KH Spirit 127/150 cranks and KH Freeride seat. Taking it out for some singletrack action this weekend.

Welcome and nice new uni, must be a big jump in speed, I went from 24 >26 > 29 so was a smaller increase in size and speed each time, the 29er is a very good all-round size
Here is a picture I snapped the other night on my first ride.
I was totally blown away by the speed and stability of the new wheel size for me. I loved the 127mm crank length although I ate it going down a ramp on a bridge not being used to the the pedal force required with the shorter cranks and bigger wheel. I almost took out 4 joggers when the uni went flying down the hill…lol
Anyway thanks for the support, running out the door to hit up some singletrack. Wish me luck.
I am 5’11. I raise the seat post up quite a bit on the night shot path as it is extremely flat, there are 2 very small rises. When I MUNI I lower it a bit.
Did 8 miles today on the local trails. I expected there to be a big learning curve on the 29er doing MUNI but low and behold it was actually so much easier. Climbing and the technical sections that really challenged me on my 24 were tackled with relative ease on the 29er.
I had a blast getting back on the 24 in the parking lot after the ride, it felt so light and controllable, almost toy like. (My new trials machine)
Anyway I am totally loving the new wheel:D The build quality is really great. Highly recommend the Oracle.
